Short feat. Andy Minh Trieu & Dani Swan
This week saw me work on a short film with the talented Andy Minh Trieu & Dani Swan.
This was one of the most professional, easy, fantastic shoots I have done.
Each Actor gave me the respect as a photographer that you wish for, to capture the essence of the scene, and this, in turn, made them deliver even more throughout the mornings Photoshoot.
An early role call at 6am, each actor delivered a great performance in this martial art inspired short film.
Getting to work with Three-time Australian Champion Martial Artist Andy Minh Trieu who expanded his repertoire from competing in front of an audience in Kung Fu contests, to performing for audiences in a range of roles across stage and screen was unbelievable. What a great, funny, down to earth guy he was.
Working once more, with the talented Dani Swan, she never ceases to tackle new roles with such ease and confidence, in this case playing the part of an experienced sword fighter. Always a pleasure to work with someone that has also become a good friend, and you can have fun and mock each other yet remain professional when the scene needs it to create some truly great results.
Lastly, a thank you to the talents of Make Up Artist Huyen Anh. Again someone who always pays 100% into her work and creates perfect results.
