Actress Lara Cox
With such a strong case of seeing more young people on the streets these days, coming from all walks of life with different stories to tell, I jumped at the chance to approach yet another one of Sydney's Talented Actresses; Lara Cox to portray some of the problems from todays youth for a short feature film through stills.
Truly a remarkable opportunity to shoot with one of Australia's leading actress. From her work on screen with such shows under her belt as, Home and Away, Heartbreak High, Neighbours, H2O and All Saints to her more recent work on film in LA on The Marine2 and Kangaroo Jack.
With Lara keen to get on board and loving to play a different character to what she normally has played, we wanted to raise the problem and awareness of just some of the struggles of a small portion of todays youth, who have drink problems, drug abuse, mental problems and are getting no help but turning to the streets.
If you are one of those people who walk around with your head too high to notice those around you, just stop and think about what that person must be handling or going through.
